Overview
Thumbcept ("we", "us", "our") operates thumbcept.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
Data we collect
- Account data — your email address and OAuth provider identifier when you sign in via Google or GitHub through Supabase Auth.
- Usage data — the video topics and hook text you enter, generated images, and your edit history. These are stored so you can access your past generations.
- Face images — if you upload a face photo for face-swap, it is sent to fal.ai for one-time processing. We do not store face photos in your Thumbcept account.
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment details. We receive a confirmation of purchase and your credit balance is updated accordingly.
- Credit balance — how many credits you have purchased and consumed.
How we use your data
- To provide the service — generate thumbnails, process face swaps, and display your history.
- To process payments via Stripe.
- To send transactional emails if required (e.g. purchase receipts via Stripe).
We do not sell your data. We do not use your images or topics to train AI models.
Third-party services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Privacy policy.
- fal.ai — image generation and face-swap processing. Images are sent to fal.ai servers for inference. Privacy policy.
- Google Gemini — used to generate thumbnail concept descriptions from your video topic. Your topic text is sent to Google's API. Privacy policy.
- Stripe — payment processing. Privacy policy.
Data retention
Your generated images and history are stored until you delete them or close your account. One-time face-swap uploads are sent to fal.ai for processing and are not stored in your Thumbcept account. We retain purchase records as required by applicable law.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us at
support@thumbcept.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
Cookies
We use cookies only for authentication session management via Supabase. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
